What your browser stores
Draft QR settings, theme preferences, export resolution and up to twelve recent exported or copied QR configurations can be stored locally on your device. These saved configurations can include logos, contact details and WiFi credentials.
Use Reset QR to reset the current draft and Clear history to remove recent entries. To remove all QR Now data, clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. Avoid saving sensitive content on shared devices.
Hosting and network requests
The website is hosted on Vercel. Loading the site makes normal hosting requests that may include an IP address, user agent and requested URL. Hosting infrastructure may process access and operational logs. QR Now does not include advertising pixels or app analytics, and QR input is not sent in these requests.
Following an external link or scanning a code that opens a website contacts that destination, which has its own privacy practices. Do not put private data in a URL’s query string if you do not want that destination to receive it.
A QR code is not encryption
Anyone who can read an exported code can recover its encoded content. That includes WiFi passwords and contact details. Share the resulting image only with the intended audience.
For implementation questions or bug reports, visit the public GitHub repository linked below. Do not include passwords or private QR payloads in public issues.
